Tournament Highlights:

• DUPR Sanctioned: Round-robin format with medal rounds depending on bracket size.

• Quick Bracket Play: Finish within 3.5 hours with a minimum of 5 matches

5.0 MONEYBALL RULES

This division is meant for our most elite pickleball competitors and warriors. The winners of this division wouldn't only go home with a medal, but also some money as well. 

• Must have 8 Teams to compete. Failure to get 8 teams will result in cancellation and refund. 

• DUPR Requirements: Must be a 4.2 rating to compete and can not exceed a 5.49 rating. Rating will be checked three days before the tournament start date. NR ratings are acceptable.

• All matches recorded on DUPR 

• $85 per person (own separate event. does not qualify as an additional 2nd event)

• Co-ed; Mixed, Women's and Men's will compete in same division

• 8+ and 40+ age division (each age division must meet required 8 teams; we will not combine)

Breakdown of Money Payouts 

If 8-11 Teams:

Gold: $300

Silver: $150

Bronze: $50

 

If 12+ Teams:

Gold: $500

Silver: $200

Bronze: $100

Tournament Format:

• Round-Robin Play: Guaranteed minimum of 5 games (4 game minimum will play 15 point rounds), depending on bracket size.

• Medal Rounds (depending on division size)

• Tiebreakers: Head-to-head results followed by point differential if needed.

 
Registration Fees & Deadlines:

• $70 per person for the first event.

• $40 per person for an additional event.

• $85 for MONEYBALL (own separate event. does not qualify as an additional 2nd event)

• Early Bird Discount: $10 off until December 28th, 11:59 PM.

• Final Registration Deadline: February 7th, 11:59 PM.*

• No credits after February 10th, 11:59 PM.

*All entries after close of registration will be charged an additional $10  

Registration Guidelines:

• Enter Both Players’ Information: During checkout, ensure both players register and pay by the deadline.

• Waiver Agreement: By registering, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in the Waiver, Release of Liability, and Participant Conduct Agreement. Please review the document carefully before completing your registration.

• Payment Options: Credit Cards are accepted safe and secure through STRIPE. 

• Confirmation: After successful online registration, you will receive a confirmation email and your name will be added to the division.

• Refund Policy: Withdrawals before the registration deadline will be refunded one week after the deadline, minus a $3.00 processing fee per transaction. No refunds or credits after the deadline for any reason, including weather conditions.

• Both players in a team must complete payment by the deadline. Teams with incomplete registrations and payment will be moved to the waiting list.

• Changes: Email hello@diamondleaguepb.com before the registration deadline for any changes (partners, divisions, DUPR ID, contact info, etc.). No changes will be allowed after the deadline.

 
Rules:

• Official Ball: LT Pro 48 Pickleball

• Regulations: USAPA 2026 pickleball rules apply. Only USAPA-approved paddles are permitted. Net serves are in continuous play. Out calls must be clear and loud.

• Age & Rating Compliance: Both partners must be aged 50+(or turn 50 in year 2026) to enter the 50+ division. If one partner is under 50, the team must enter the 12+ division. Partners can play above their DUPR rating but not below. If both partners are rated 3.49 or below, they may enter the 3.0 division. For the 3.5 division, both must be rated 3.99 or below. DUPR ratings are checked 3 days before end of registration.

• Disqualification: Registering in a lower division than your rating may result in disqualification.

 
DUPR Requirements:

• Match Recording: All matches will be recorded to DUPR. Results will be uploaded within 2 weeks after the tournament.

• DUPR Account: All players must have a DUPR account before registering.

• Sign up for a free account at mydupr.com if you don't already have one.
